Discuss sources, not private legal outcomes
You may discuss what legal text says, cite sources, compare public legal materials, and debate policy or interpretation. Do not ask for or provide personalized legal advice, private case strategy, deadline guidance, filing instructions, immigration advice, housing emergency advice, criminal-defense advice, family-law advice, employment-dispute advice, or other personal legal direction.
Cite and characterize legal sources carefully
When you claim what a law, regulation, case, or agency source says, cite or link the source when possible. Do not knowingly misquote sources, present unofficial summaries as official text, hide uncertainty, or state legal conclusions as verified when the source does not support them.
Respect, safety, and abuse
Do not harass, threaten, stalk, dox, impersonate, target people based on protected characteristics, coordinate abuse, evade restrictions, spam, scam, manipulate engagement, or interfere with LawFeed's systems. Do not post private personal information, confidential legal facts, sealed materials, or client information without the right and reason to do so.
Images and uploaded media
Only upload images you have the right to use. Do not upload images that are private, exploitative, sexual, hateful, violent, illegal, misleading, infringing, or that contain sensitive personal information unless you have the right and reason to share them. Copyright and takedown concerns can be submitted through the LawFeed legal request intake.
Reports and follow-up
Use reporting tools to flag misinformation, harassment, spam, personal legal advice, or other concerns. Reports should be honest, specific, and not used to silence lawful disagreement. You may provide follow-up when available, but follow-up does not guarantee a particular result.
Moderation outcomes
LawFeed may dismiss reports, remove content, limit distribution, add moderator notes, preserve evidence, restrict features, suspend accounts, reopen reports, or take other actions based on context, severity, repeated behavior, safety risk, legal risk, and platform integrity.
